22 March, 2018 saw the first meeting for the year of the four (4) Results Groups that have responsibility to support implementation of the Government – United Nations (UN’s) Country Implementation Plan (CIP). DPI, Guyana, Wednesday, March 14, 2018 A workshop to formulate a National Adolescent Health Strategy is being hosted by the Ministry of Public Health’s Adolescent Health Unit in collaboration with PAHO/WHO, UNICEF and UNFPA. The UN celebrated International Women’s Day through participation in a series of activities. On March 8 Heads of Agencies participated and shared at the Government’s event to mark the occasion. On March 10 there was a joint UN display at the The High Commission of Canada’s Press for Freedom exhibition, which was an afternoon dedicated to educating, entertaining, empowering and networking.
